I am starting a new photographic diary of sorts. It will be a casual offering of images I collect from being in my immediate world around me.
I've always taken photographs of the world around me. I'm fascinated by most everything I see.
As a little me, my mother would scrape together change to surprise me, when she could, with gifts of disposable cameras or inexpensive film. One summer, she managed to give me a 110 camera. If you're as old as I am, you'll know that those were the long, skinny cameras with the odd shaped film canisters. She gave it to me with 5 rolls of film. I was out of frames by 3:00 p.m.
Every texture, angle, line, story... it is all wonderful. There's so much to see in the world around us.
